Camping Hostel Amsterdamse Bos
By car or camper
From direction Utrecht (A2):
You take the A9 direction Schiphol Airport. Take exit number 6 (Aalsmeer/Amsterdamse Bos). Follow the N231. You are going over the bridge the Bosrandweg on. Turn left at the second traffic light and you are near the camping.
From direction Amersfoort (A1)
Follow the ring Amsterdam (A10) direction Den Haag/Schiphol. Follow the A4 and take after a short while the A9 direction Utrecht/Amstelveen. Take exit number 6 (Aalsmeer/Amsterdamse Bos). Follow the N231. You are going over the bridge the Bosrandweg on. Turn left at the second traffic light and you are near the camping.
From direction Den Haag (A4)
Take the A9 direction Utrecht/Amstelveen. Take exit number 6 (Aalsmeer/Amsterdamse Bos). Follow the N231. You are going over the bridge the Bosrandweg on. Turn left at the second traffic light and you are near the camping.
From direction Zaandam
First follow the A10 “Ringweg West”/ Den Haag, than follow the A4 and take after a short while the A9 direction Utrecht/Amstelveen. Take exit number 6 (Aalsmeer/Amsterdamse Bos). Follow the N231. You are going over the bridge the Bosrandweg on. Turn left at the second traffic light and you are near the camping.
Public transport
The campsite is very well accessible by public transport
Train:
Take the train to the airport (Schiphol) and from there you take bus 199, this bus will bring you in approximately 20 minutes to the campsite. The bus stop is right in front of the camp ground.
Bus:
From Central Station Amsterdam you take bus 172 to “Bus station Amstelveen”. Here you transfer to bus 171 and get off at ‘Bovenkerk/Schinkeldijkje, from there it’s 5 minutes to the campsite by foot. (see attachment)
Metro/tram:
Take metro/sneltram direction ‘Westwijk’ and get out at ‘Spinnerij’, from there it is approximately 15 minutes walk (see attachment). If you don’t want to walk you can also get off at Brink and take from there bus 199 direction ‘Schiphol’, this bus stops right in front of the campsite.
